For me, a morning day spent inside looking out at the heavy showers and feeling sympathy for the hirers of the day boats from Skipton and Snaygill. For Myra, a bus trip to Skipton and shopping. She managed to be inside some shop as each shower hit, and even made it back to Martlet relatively dry. The afternoon was spent reading and taking it easy, as was the evening. I did not stub my toe as I went to bed.
Very heavy showers and really menacing looking clouds.
